Application for Natural Gas Services in Ontario

What information do I need to provide in my application?

For your gas meter application, you need to provide contact info for your HVAC contractor, who will be Bryan’s Fuel in this case. You will also need to provide some basic information for your property, including building type, service type, address, billing information, details on your building and meter location on the property, and more.

How much does it cost to install the new gas meter?

Enbridge will also install a new gas meter at no charge for a new residential customer. However, this meter must be installed on the front wall of the building or on the side wall of the building, up to 2 metres past the building face. For each additional metre past the face of the building, an additional charge of $32 (plus GST) will be added to the Owner’s bill.

How much does it cost to install the service line?

As specified in the application form, Enbridge will provide and install up to 30 meters of service line at no charge to a new residential customer. Each additional metre of service line will cost an extra $32 (plus GST). This distance must be measured from the Owner’s property line, up to a maximum of 2 metres past the building face.
