What You’ll Do – Role Responsibilities

  • Install gas or propane water heaters, air conditioners and heat pumps, duct work and hydronics for retrofits, new custom home construction and light commercial HVAC systems.
  • Retrofit gas and propane furnaces.
  • Install sheet metal to meet industry standards.
  • Track time and materials on a work order basis.
  • Collaborate with the Installation Operations Manager, Installation Supervisor, and technician peers on optimal installation techniques and troubleshooting solutions as required.
  • Work with a Lead Hand to ensure safe and proper operation of all installations.
  • Report to the Installation Operation Manager.

What You’ll Need – Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years experience working in the field
  • Must hold a current G3, G2, or G1 license
  • 313D Residential Refrigeration Mechanic license is an asset
  • Oil Burner Mechanic Certification – Class 2 or Class 3 is an asset
  • Residential (Low Rise) Sheet Metal Worker 308R Journeyperson is an asset
  • Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and follow building codes
  • Valid License
  • Safe driving record validated by a Driver’s Abstract that is valid within the past 30 days
  • Criminal search valid within the past 30 days
